I am in the process of rebuilding my single axle trailer.  I have an1997 Explorer 215 and a 1997 Loadrite.  I tow tmhe boat about 3 miles for the ramp and back.

Recently the axles fell out while towing, see my other post, and now I have no breaks. The lines are crape so I have to replace them all. Just checking if any of you guys have used the rubber line kits I see at westmarine and are they any good?

I used the plastic brake line kits from Sturdybuilt Trailer Parts.  They work as well as metal lines as long as you prevent chafing.

If your not going back with aluminum brake lines use the harder plastic lines suggested. The rubber lines will be too soft for hard braking.
