Slips/Moorings in Boston area?

Anyone have any tips for reasonably priced moorings or slips in the Boston area on a tributary with access to the Harbor?  I live in metro west, have been launching out of Weymouth and Medford.  I have a 175.  The hail mary would be finding someone with private access who is willing to rent off a small portion for a reasonable cost.  I know I am dreaming...

I've been looking in the area south of Boston. It seems the going rate is about $150 a foot. Or $125 with a 20-30 minute no-wake ride to the ocean or sitting in mud at low tide. I'm going to contact some people with private docks next.

Yikes, no recession on the south shore?
Personally I probably wouldn't mind the boat ride to get out to the harbor - time on the water is still better than time trailering!
If you find anything interesting privately, please let me know.  I don't need much for my 175.

North shore looks very reasonable, up in Amesbury.
I'm out in Concord, MA though and still undecided on whether north or south is the easier drive.  I wish there was something reasonable on the Charles or Mystic rivers.

Is there an extra zero in there?  We have dry storage for like 10-15 a ft here - think it was about $200 for a 20ftr a month.  I'm sure that the members that work at marina's can update with what they see in their area.

Ya know... I looked at that also, and said    I think I can have a dock built (Commercial) for half that per foot.  Slip fees onboard  the Naval Station are like 10 per foot, out in town I think may be 15 at the high end.

Town owned moorings and slips and yacht clubs are quite a bit cheaper but have 5 to 10 year waiting lists. There are rack moorings in some of the rivers around here that are cheaper but are a PITA to deal with. I called a small marina yesterday; a slip is $3500 for up to 25' boat for the season. The season is April 15 to Oct 15. Someone told me the dry docking or in/out service runs about $75 a ft and they need an hour or two notice. I'm on a couple of lists in case people don't want their slip in the spring. I just don't want to wait too long waiting for a deal and end up with nothing.

What about in the Merrimack River ? Salisbury or Newburyport ? one of my friends keeps his at Crossroads Bait and tackle and gets a season pass to the Salisbury state park ramp .
