This is a late response, but since I have had experience with BoatUS trailer assist, thought I'd add it to the thread. Years ago, in a northern VA suburb of DC, my old truck decided never to start again, right after I had filled it and the boat up at a gas station. I was blocking a whole island of pumps, it was during rush hour, what a mess. I called BoatUS, explained everything, and was told a truck would be dispatched within 15-20 minutes and should be at the site within an hour (remember, this was evening rush hour). Well, it took nearly three hours, but through no fault of BoatUS or the towing company ---- while en route, the tow truck was commandeered by one of the local police depts. to help clear a serious wreck, adding a couple of hours to my wait. When the truck finally arrived, I was surprised and pleased to see that it was a long flatbed, capable of carrying the truck/trailer/boat all at one time. The guy driving really knew his business regarding jockying his rig and my truck/trailer around the gas pumps and loading everything up. He then drove to my residence, unloaded everything, uncoupled the boat trailer, reloaded my truck, and then carried it to the garage for servicing. All in all, a very positive experience, thanks to the dispatcher who listened, and the tow company that sent the right truck with an experienced driver. Well worth several years of that annual trailer assist fee.
