Haven't tried anything yet. On business trip in Vegas w/family. I won't be able to scrub boat for a couple of weeks. Suks.

But... Vegas is pretty sweet. I need the G-men to win Sunday. If so, I'll get some new boat toys!

SO what type of toys are going to get?   Or did you bet with the spread?

My suggestion is Oxalic Acid.  It's a powder - a couple of tablespoons, diluted in a gallon of water.  It is also amazing for that brown stain you sometimes get below the waterline.  As with other acids, keep it off aluminum trailers, etc.  (tends to 'spot' the aluminum).

I only find it at Ace or other "real" hardware stores...never seen it at Lowe's or the other big boxes.

Premixed, ready to go. As stated, etches aluminum trailers.

Great for brightening teak after you clean it and before adding Teakguard
