You guys remember when they bought up E & B Marine?  We had a shop down on Tamiami, by Myrtle in Sarasota.  Rick, Scott, remember them?
Yup.
I miss Boaters World too although they weren't the cheapest place in town either.  It DID offer some competition and selection difference though.  Being a member of the boat club we used to get a litttle break at Boat US.

We've got a little chandlery in Hernando Beach about 10 minutes from the house, Sterling Marine.  Patty may not have everything (but she has all the different hoses CHEAP!), but she can get whatever I want the next day from either Donovan or Glen-mar, and charges me just a little mark-up over her cost.  I try to give her all the business I can...plus she has a nice rack on her, never hurts!
