took my dog out on the boat for the first time, the bay couldnt have been any flatter! cruised around for a bit then pulled up to the sand bar behind weedon. let her run around with some other dogs.

didnt really try any fishing, forgot my tackle box at home so all i had was live bait rigs in the boat and my buddy's bait shop was out of shrimp, so i said screw it and just cruised around

Great stuff.  The weather yesterday was amazing but the bite was lousy.  I have always wanted to try to take Tucker my yellow lab mix out on my boat.  I'm sure he would love it but he has hip troubles so it's no longer an option.

we used to have a chow-German Sheppard mix. we took it out on my parents boat a few times, each time it wouldn't come out of the cabin, she was deathly afraid of water. after almost 17 years we had to put her down about a year and a half ago. last newyears while up at my parents property on the Suwanee river, this dog just showed up one day and wouldn not leave. we live on a dead end road, 2 other houses, no one knew whos dog it was so i took it home

My dog Tucker was apparently dumped on the side of the road.  We took him home and fell in love with him.  He's 13 now and has been the best dog in the world.

side note:

i hooked my water pressure gauge back up a couple weeks ago so i tested today, how high i could run the jack-plate up without loosing too much water pressure:
10 psi @ 3-1/2" up
8 psi @  4" up

bobs machine says to them, anything 10 psi and over is good, i almost never run it more than 2 inches up, i had to run it high couple weeks ago in some skinny water...

dogs name is daisy... mom named her...
