The reason I ask this was because I was on Great Skipper looking at gauge sets and some have the plug in type for all 5 gauges.

As far as condensation goes my original gauges lasted me ten years. Two winters ago I replaced the console in my boat and I also replaced the gauges so everything would have that new look.  There was nothing wrong mechancially with the ten year old gauges which were hard wired. Hope that helps.

My gauges are similar in appearance to the photo you posted. I believe they are the "Euro White".  With the white background, black alphanumeric symbols, and black bezel they look very sharp!

Yes,they are Euro white.They do look sharp.

You don't want those.  Those gauges were special built for an OEM that wanted to speed up production time.  Note the pigtails off each gauge, they used to mate to a harness...now they don't, and you have to butt splice everything together...
