Prop size Question
« on: April 22, 2012, 04:02:23 PM »
What size and type of prop would be best on a 1976 170 w/115 hp Evinrude..?? The boat will serve a dual purpose as a family and fishing boat.

Thank you

Good motor. Is the motor on a jackplate or bolted directly to the transom? What props have you tried and what results did you get? We suspect you'll end up with a good quality ss prop in the 17 or 19 range and 1 or 2 holes up.
