Would Like to borrow a stock 1975 19-6 Console Cover
« on: August 28, 2011, 05:07:03 PM »
I have an retired acquaintance who does canvas work out of her home. Unfortunately she is unable to measure the console and fabricate a new cover. I would like to borrow a stock cover so she can measure it for my new cover. In return I will lend any or all of the AQ canvas including spray hood, clear windshield conector, side curtains , aft curtain amd privacy curtain. Please note the operative word is LEND not sell. Would prefer someone near Palm Beach Gardens, FL but I will travel to effect a transfer.
Does anyone know if Atlantic Canvas, formerly located at 1230 NE 8th Ave in Ft. Lauderdale has a successor? They were the suppliers for AQ canvas in the mid to late 70's. There is another Atlantic Canvas but does not have any association with the original company.

Pete, I believe it's for a 1975 19-6 center console.  Revisit the title of the post.

sbgsho, I have a '75 19-6 but unfortunately I do not have a stock console.  Good luck!

Solved my problem by going to the Marine Liquidators in Ft. Pierce where I found a large Sunbrella console cover which I believe I can cut down. Wife said to put it on inside out and mark where it needs to be stiched and she will sew it. It is so long that it will almost reach the floor so it will protect the teak doors on my console.
For anyone considering going you should allow at least 2 to 3 hours to see everything. It is a boaters toy store.
