Health food

I made a sausage & cheese omelet tonight.  Since I threw in a handful of baby spinach leaves that converted the omelet to a health food.  Right?

Right.  So is this...

I mean, it says "Natural Light" right on the cans.  Those two words are good for you...right?

As we all learned as children, it is very important to consume from all of the food groups. Organic eggs, wholesome meats, cheeses, leafy vegetables, lentils and legumes, grains (barley, hops, wheat, rye, corn, sugar, yeast etc.) and fresh fruits are all great selections.

And juices. Orange juice, pineapple juice, guava juice, lime juice, lemon juice, strawberry juice, rum juice, coconut juice, etc.

There was a nice article on former President Clinton a few days back. He has become a vegan. He said he can really tell a difference in his vitality and stamina.

You do need to consume a balance from the main food groups:

Grains - chips, pizza crust, donuts
Liquids - beer, wine, more beer
Fruits - limes, lemons (for margaritas, G&T, etc.)
Meats - burgers, steaks, ribs, wings
Veggies - celery (goes in bloody mary), olives

Make sure each meal has at least one item from at least 3 of the food group!
