Bob- Yes, just had to adjust the float a little and it cleared right up. Thanks for the suggestion! The only thing i noticed after that was an occasional drop would spit out of the air bleed orifices out of the carbs. Its maybe 1 or 2 random drops every 30-40 seconds. nothing serious, but i didnt know if that was normal or not.

Hey guys, still pecking away at this thing... after running at cruising speed, it bogs down and then stalls out. is there a specific carb that i can adjust that controls the idle or something like that?
Also, just based on taking them apart and seeing the cavities and fuel "tracks" that are built into the carbs, I was able get the basic idea of the fuel flow- I think it has something to do with maybe how i have the reeds set. Could I maybe have one of them too high or low. My manual didnt say anything specific about how far to set them, I just figured somewhere just short of all the way in was correct to still allow for fuel flow.

Check the little plastic pieces on the throttle linkages, they wear out and can cause the butterflies to not open at the same time or not all the way. Also I read back in the thread and didn't see where you have linked and synched the carbs. Did you do this?

best way is with a manometer.  You can make one at home tons of articles out there on how to do it.  Basically, it measures the vacuum your carbs pull, and you have to adjust all the carbs to pull the same vacuum.  A fairly easy way to do it is just loosen all your links to the carbs, and slowly tighten, to that all 3 butterflies open at the exact same time, and exact same angles, and they are all opening fully(about 4 degrees off of completely horizontal).
