Fish Box Covers
« on: July 07, 2011, 09:30:52 PM »
Hello Fellow Boaters,
I am new to Aquasport as well as this forum.  I recently purchased a 2001 205 Osprey.  One of my fish box covers is cracked pretty bad.  I pulled info from the under side and tried to find a replacement cover to no avail.  It was made by Pyramid Control Systems and they no longer make them.  They directed me to Wellcraft and the gentleman there told me I was out of luck as they are not available anymore.  Anyone have any suggestions?
Thanks in advance.

Snot,
I just wanted to type that!  Welcome!  Now, your lids were built using the VEC process, not in the usual fashion as most lids.  Genmar had bought that outfit back in the late 90s, and, seeing as they no longer kind of exist, you'll be hard-pressed to find a replacement.

However, my friend Rob Wilhoit, owner of The Boathaus in Sarasota, bought a lot of old small parts molds from WC/AS before they high-tailed it out of Sarasota.  Give him a call, he may be able to help.  Here's a link to his site...http://www.boathaus.net/contact.htm
