Need some advice

I'm new to the board and need some info/advice on an Aquasport I'm looking at.  Its a 20', 1984 center console with a 150 Johnson.  Guages do not work and no lights.  Motor cranks and runs and boat is dirty but from what the current owner says, the boat is in decent condition. Going to see it in person tonight and would like to know what is the main thing to keep an eye out on when it comes to this boat. Price has dropped to $3k.
How does that price sound for that year and model boat?  Comes with tandem trailer.
This will be my first Aquasport.

The basic difference between this being a decent deal or a dog is how much rot is in the floor, hatches, and transom. It is of the age to have this problem unless she's been stored inside or covered during her life. So have your eyes wide open and walk or hop around the floor, tilt the engine up and get your weight on the engine and rock her back and forth to see if the transom moves excessively. Even if the boat was free; you can easily drop $10K in her to get her back to a usable condition if the coring is rotten.
