Don't forget the Spring 2011 SouthEast Gathering
« on: April 24, 2011, 08:11:28 PM »
Time to double-check your schedule and see if you can squeeze in 5 or 6 hours to come meet some of your fellow members.  We're meeting in Placida - inside Boca Grande Pass by the railroad tressel.
Here is a link to the topic - hope to see you there.

I'll be there!  Sounds like we'll have about 6 or 7 diifferent members and boats there.  :salut:
Good islands to camp on too, if anyone is interested.

Planning to attend as I am in Punta Gorda now. Looking forward to meeting some of you and seeing your boats. I am working on my 222 and would like to get some ideas from your boats.

It just so happens that I will be coming through there on Friday late afternoon or early evening. It is a 38 Tiara, named "Necessary Evil." We will be on our way to spend the night at Cabbage Key. Then coming back north though the Gasparilla Island Bridge the next Saturday morning. I'd love to meet some of you if our schedules work out. I'm not sure what time I'll get  there (I'd like to be early, but wives, kids, guests, babysitters will certainly all conspire to make it a late trip through the bridge Friday). I've got a 1976 22-2 that I have not touched yet, but I am dying to chat about restoration options. And, I'd just like to say hello :)

So, I hope someone will be monitoring a VHF?

In any case, best to all,
