Sunset on the Gulf

Took a couple of my guys from work out on Saturday, and enjoyed another great SW FL Sunset! 8)   One of the guys had a GoPro camera.

I would be the fat guy in the white T-shirt, at the helm.
Cameras always add 20 lbs...  :pig:

And yes, it was overall a nice ride in!  Got POUNDED on the way to the reef. But the seas calmed down a bit while we were out there. There was a brief encounter with a sandbar near the Sanibel causeway  :pale: ... Thank god he had put the camera away by then.  Only the 2nd time I've had to walk my boat off a sandbar.  But my prop is much shinier now!

It's late so forgive me but....

You went out into the Gulf.
You're heading back in (to Ft. Meyers?)

The sunset is off your bow? or....

Are you running somewhat parallel to the coastline? (though it looks like the moon off your stern ).

Tired.

Bob, you're paying attention!
The ramp is at Punta Rassa (top of this map), and we were fishing about 1.5 mi off the SE end of Ft. Myers Beach, so our return trip took us on a North-West course, until we cleared the bridge.

Props need polishing regularly ;)

I bought a SS prop on a trial basis from a guy that I know leaves propeller tracks everywhere.  I took it to General Propeller to be balanced before I tried it.  They said there was over 1" of diameter missing.  I gave it back to the PO.
