I think the biggest no no would be trying to start the engine with it hooked up.
Well, I shall write ProMariner and tell them to rewrite their literature! As you guys said, I had no problems. Fired her up today, went about 13 miles offshore, and bagged some sheepshead and snapper- both on the surface and at the bottom at 60' deep! Nice day, it was!

Snapper??? I went out yesterday too, everything I caught I had to throw back for the Porpoise to eat, then did a survey with the FWC folks at the boat ramp, they are doing an economic survey to study how much rec fishing is contributing to FLs economy, and how stupid some of these reg are. Hopefully something will change in the next year or so.
