Is this enough power? I have a 150 suzuki which I think is just too heavy.

90HP is sufficient.  Hell, 70HP will plane these boats out.  Expect top end speeds around 35mph.

The scuttlebutt on these motors was that Mercury pushed the 10% over on the horsepower allowance and they cranked out nearly 100 hp on the dyno. You should not have a problem with this engine on a 200. Start off with a 15-17" pitch prop and see if she will turn 5500 rpm with your normal load.

I think it depends on the manufacturer and prop.  It should be fine.  I have seen plenty of these boats with 115hp engines.  You may not be able to pull two skiers at a time.  But who needs to do that anyway.

If the Zuke is a 2stroke put that on. AS rigged the 200 from the factory with a 150 Yamaha as an option. I just dont see a 90 pushing that boat to the mid to high 30's on its best day and if it did it would be at WOT. factor in almost 500# in gas plus people and assorted fishing equipment. Its gonna make for a slow boat to China.

I thought that was a "Slow boat from China"..?

Think about the weight of these two outboards-  Depending on the year of the 90HP Merc, 265 - 305 lbs.  Suzuki DT150 (depending on the year), about 450lbs, give or take.    What are you willing to hang on the transom to get to 45mph? What about fuel consumption?  What speed would you like to cruise at?  I'm a 30mph guy because I'm usually not in a hurry.

Not to mention, 2 stroke zukes don't have the best track record in terms of reliability.

I miss having a self-bailing deck at rest, like I did with my old 90HP.  Really your choice though.
