Spent the weekend installing the new grab rails on my 222. I fabricated them out of 7/8 stainless .049 wall . The old rails were alum with chrome plated zamak fittings (junk) . Had a heck of a time finding the same fittings in stainless but attwood had them and the job came out sharp. Also installed an 8 inch pop up cleat by attwood , (what a piece of Hardware). Keep putting of installing new gas tank cause of different methods foam or no foam . I know water is going to work its way in that cavity so I am going to put a drain in the center rear directly into the bilge. I replaced the thru hull fittings with nylon but I cant stand to look at them now have to replace with s/s Not having any luck finding the right size with a little larger flange to cover the paint job. Have to stop workin cause of Xmas and need more cash for more stuff. Merry xmas Capt RC
