Anybody know the name of that tool that strips off gel coat?
I saw it on Ship Shape TV once, worked kind of like a portable hand held thickness planer.
It had a depth adjustment to vary the depth of cut and made about a 3" - 4" wide path down the side of the hull with each pass.
That'll be tons easier than sanding off the gel coat around the sides and bottom of the hull to bond in the transom.
Anybody know where I can rent one?
