Just was in there for few hours myself this morning, they do have another CC switch Panel identical to what Mike and Myself purchased, they also have at least one of the new dash guage panels like Pete has on his newer Osprey.  The place is over-whelming.

I wonder what they would take for the "lot" of AS panels?  Just a thought...not to mention bolsters, canvas, vacu-formed parts, biminis...a little AS warehouse...like I said, just a thought...

Anywho, here's how she looks now:

Fellow Osprey owners/builders:

Was this glove box door from the factory?  I always thought the clear plexiglass was odd, seeing as you advertise all the items within to whomever can see.  AND, I always thought that little door needed to be hinged; instead, it comes right off.  Was that an Aquasport design or did my prior owner jerry rig this?

Mike,
The door fit into a receiver of sorts on the bottom, than latched at the top.  Yes, it is factory...

When I was rigging the binnacle (probably yours, too), I would take the door off and put my hardware and tools in there...

Same door on mine Mike, scuff the backside, and paint it black, that's what I am going to do to match my Guage panel.

Good idea with the painting.  The door still fits in the channel OK, but sometimes I'll forget to close it before I get underway, and the door has gone flying!  Maybe one day I'll do something with hinges.

So, last question about the switch panel:   :?:  Would you recommend sealing it with silicone or 5200?  It came with a thin rubber gasket, which I think has shrunk over the years, and not sure it will provide a watertight seal anymore. It was kinda gooey.

Congrats on your purchase Mike, silicone is ok just don't use 5200,that panel will never come off in one piece  again.

X612!!  Hey, gotta pick a number...

Used to work on  '98 Proline 2950.  When it rained, the wipers, Nav Lights, and sometimes the horn would come on by themselves...the horn was fun for the owner!  No gasket or sealant behind the switch panel...

if you ever have to replace a switch or breaker its easier to do it from the front.Just take off the panel, replace component and screw it back on,done it a few times :salut:
