How to identify the year with no vin
« on: October 02, 2010, 10:26:41 AM »
I bought a flatback a little while ago as a project. After looking at the hull I dont believe it is the year it was advertised as, doesnt bother me but I would like to know for the future. Seems to have more dead rise then the late 60's and early 70's models. The cap that is on the boat looks like a mid 70's model but i cant say its the orig. any suggestions

Did you buy a 19-1, 19-6 or a 22-2. Only the 22-2 was a flatback up to the end of 71`. The 19-1, 19-6 was a little unique to itself with a slight modified V and a small stepped "pad" until 71`. For the 72` model year the 19-6 and 22-2`s were 12 degree V`s.
