fishmaster t top on a 170 ?

Anyone installed a t top on there 170? where did you mount the starboard rear leg in relation the the rigging tray, behind,in front of etc....
I have purchaced a fishmaster top and where i would have liked to place it is right on top of the rigging tray but the cover really offers no support .

can you bridge the cover with a plate of stainless or aluminum?

that would make me have to also  shim the other 3 legs, i thought about blocking/ support under and notching the cover so i could still get it up without a lot of hassle.
I still may just set it back on the solid part of the deck, that puts the rear legs back about an inch plus the diameter of the tubing or about 2 1/2 overall

On my 86 osprey I have a full t-top and at one time it was bolted down just like yours would be. I had it changed to where it bolts to the center console so i would not have the problem you are talking about. hope this helps.

My vote would be to move it back off the rigging insert.  BTW, the Fishmaster top fits almost perfectly on the base of the old-style CCP console.
