The engine that came with it went down today making my decision to rebuild or ride it out a whole lot easier. Should be able to start tearing into her soon and will be looking for any help/ideas. I have a handfull of very reliable resources but this will be my first rebuild. I have been looking at various rebuilt 22.2 FB's and I think I know what I want.

I will attempt to post some pics let me know how it go's.

Plan is to start with ripping out the deck leaving an 1.5 inch lip, then check the stringers out and really see what I got to work with.

Can't get the pics uploaded, I have resized and compressed but still get a "The image is invalid" message every time.?

Do you have the pics in photobucket? If you do just copy the url into a post and one of us can post them.

You were so close DB.
Once you have the images uploaded and resized, just hover your mouse over the image you want to insert in your topic and a popup appears below the image

Click inside the box shown in the image above and the code that you need is highlighted. Then right-click the mouse inside the box, select "Copy", then go to your post and right-click, select paste and you're done.

So close.

Wow - that brings back (mostly pleasant) memories.  Glad to be done though... LOL.

Lilrichard - Just checked your deal out, I had reviewed it before... very nice!!! Couple questions;

Did you raise the deck up? if so how much?

I'm thinking of going with dyvincell for deck mainly for the weight difference. Saw you went with wood, how thick? and do you feel heavy at all?

Looking at compressors, what kind of specs do want, to be to do everything I'm going to need to do?
