The porpoising problem was remedied with the doelfin.  I am not a big fan of them but it seems to help.  I might fab an anti-ventilation plate similar to Bob's Machine shop eventually.

I bought a Bob's plate and I lost 2-3 mph so I took it off.  I'll sell it if you want it - has one trip on it I think, maybe 2.  Fits a Johnson - don't remember if it fits other motors.

Thanks for the info on Badonquasport.  That is the one I was thinking of.  Anyone else have some better close up pics?  I am wondering if the bait well is flush with the bottom of the hull or up a little.  And are they thru bolted, lagged or what?

How much for the plate?  I might be interested.
