250 express fisherman

I recently purchased a 1987 250 express fisherman and was wondering if anyone had any suggestion or areas that i need to be concerned with. I have been been trying to get more info on this boat but it seems very limited for this paticular model. to top off my XF has a 4.3 liter I/O i see most come with outboard motors. If any any has some suggestions to offer please let me know.

thanks for the info Rick. Do you know of any regualr problem areas with this boat i should be concerned with? Other than some clean up everything looks good. Does Auqasport still offer decal kits for this model?

Hi

Welcome to the 250 XF-family.
As far as I know here are no critical problems with theese boats.
The only thing prehaps you have some softspots due to humidity which is typical for many elderly boats.

No decals available - have to get them made locally.

no soft spots found yet. boat appears to be in really good condition. Once i get it cleaned up i will post some pictures.
