Steering Wheel Diameter
« on: March 13, 2010, 03:55:30 PM »
Does the diameter of the steering wheel make a difference in operation?  This question is regarding my father's 1975 22-2.  The current steering wheel is a 15" destroyer type wheel with a power knob.  The new one is a stainless 13 1/2" with a power knob.  He will have hydraulic steering.  Thanks for your input.

Nope - especially with 1) Hydraulic and 2) Power knob.

Great!  I was hoping that was the answer.  Thanks Rick!

Put the 13" with a knob on my '75 22-2.  Works real nice with hydraulic steering. Four easy turns for full pivot.   :D
