Hi
Welcome to the 250 family Newbie25 !!
Congratulations you own a great boat.
I'm courious about your photos.
Perhaps you can give me some hints about the painting, I just bought International Perfection for painting the deck which has some surface cracks. Later I'd like to paint the rest of the boat. How much solvent do you have to add to the paint and how much paint will i need for the boat.
Which tricks do I need for getting a good surface ?
Regards and enjoy your boat.

Stephen,
For the service cracks on my deck and throughout the topside I used resin to fill them and sanded if smooth. For big gauges I used marine body-filler that has fiberglass strands in it. I also used Interlux Brightside for the top of the boat because you do not have to mix it with a hardener and I got great results (more pics will be posted). I did use Interlux Perfection on the hull with the brush and tip method and it came out GREAT. With great prep work both paints are very good. I forget the exact mixture ratio I had my friend help with the spraying of the topside because he is a good painter. I rolled the floor with Interdeck by Interlux. I used 1 gallon and 1 quart for the topside of the boat and 4 containers of the perfection for the hull. I also used 1 gallon of the recommended primer for the Perfection paint.
Make sure after you prime the boat you sand it because it will dry with a eggshell finish!!
If you have anymore questions don't hesitate to ask.
Mike

Does anybody know were to get literature about my 1987 250 XF?
Also does anybody have a rough estimate/guess how much a full canvas enclosure would cost for my boat?
Thanks-A-Million

Looking good
Cabin looks new still.
We have some literature on this model in our photo gallery
http://www.classicaquasport.com/gallery/showphoto.php/photo/2866/sort/1/cat/574/page/1
.
When you scale your pictures, you can scale them to 640x480 or even 800x600 and then follow the steps you did to get the pix in your posts. The ones you have now don't do your hard work justice.
