We can at least get people to your hosting site http://picasaweb.google.com/johne230/MyBoatAlbum#.
I've never used that site and I don't see any way to get the proper codes to add to your post.

The non-skid looks great (as does the whole boat) - what are you using for the non-skid?

That is Interlux perfection over the factory non skid. The color is platinum. Thanks for the help getting the pictures up.

You're welcome.
The wood on the bulkhead adds a nice touch in the cabin.  Does your rope locker drain outboard?  Was the bulkhead rotted out any?
I like the captains chair too - where'd you find that?

Thanks for the compliment, yes the anchor locker does drain overboard. One of the first things I looked for throughout the boat before I bought it was signs of rot or delam and could not find any.I have since painted everything I could get at below deck and in the anchor locker with two coats of bilge kote. The seat I found on Ebay brand new its a Todd seat model 1000.It came with the slide and spider the pedestal I got from springfield scratch and dent shop.

I understand the slide but what is the "spider"

Often referred to as the spider, it's the top mount that fits into the pedestal. One type mounts directly to the seat (no "sliding action") the other to the slide itself.

I'd bet it gets its name from the bass boat type mount.

I was talking about how it hurt a little this morning
One thing I don't like about my 230 helm is how the engine control was mounted.  My helm is different then yours and the location of the control is shown in this pic

You can see it at the top.  When I need to put the boat in reverse I actually have to turn the seat so it faces starboard and that gives me enough room to do so.  Not sure why they installed the control so it stuck so far out to port.  It's not like I push the control past the surface it is mounted when I motor in reverse anyway. That is on my list of things to do - get a peice of starboard to put under the control to cover the existing hole and move the control starboard a couple inches.  Then I can maybe get a nice seat like you have.

I can see where that can be a pain in the a**** .When I changed my seat I did it to be up higher so I can see over the bow better when on plane but once installed I realized I couldnot reach the steering wheel without leaning forward a little uncomfortable so I had to go to a 151/2" wheel and buy a 20degree wedge from teleflex to bring the top of the wheel closer, it worked out well I will post some pictures the next time I get down to the boat that is on dry dock for the winter so I can do some more work on her when the weather cooperates.
