Just hung the motor on my new transom

My 225 Suzuki is no longer hanging from the walnut tree in the back yard! :D  With the use of a come-along, a 2x4 and some manpower it is now bolted to the stern!

In the back of my mind there was a voice saying, "The bolt holes are not in the right place, the motor will be crooked or will not fit!" :(  But lo and behold, everything came togeather :D  :D  :D

I did make a plywood template of the bolt holes and it was a big help!

That's a big step.  That should charge your batteries to get going on the rest of it.

I have a lot of pictures!

I will download them from the camera and then post in the Photo Gallery before the end of the week.

With the new transom and new paint job it looks like a new boat!

I just got my new decals printed last week but have not yet put them on the boat.

Thanks to CajunSportsman for the file he sent me with the Aquasport 222 CCP Decal!

I just posted a picture of my new transom with the motor attached.

Last evening I got the trim tabs operational. I still have to get the motor operational and the steering connected, oh yea also the rub rails, electronics......... Will it ever get off my driveway and in the water?

You betcha it will and soon :D  :D  :D
