Question for seabob4
« on: November 03, 2009, 08:43:06 AM »
I have a 1993 AS 230 Osprey TM with 150 ocean pros. Would you know if I have wood stringers or is it another type of material? Also I have a soft area around the hatch in front of the bait well seat in the front of the console any advice would be appreciated.
Thanks

These are the 92 specs for your boat. I doubt they changed much on your model year. SB4 will be able to confirm.

I think you'll find that all Aquas since the begining (or shortly thereafter) have had foam filled stringers, a trademark of this brand.

:thumleft:  on what CB said - wood in the transom, yes (at least my '92), but not in the stringers.

MD,
I believe Rick and Bob have answered far better than I could have.

There are many members here that are the TRUE resourses of this website, by far my absolute favorite.  They have much more knowledge than I due to the day-to-day intimacy with there boats after they've been USED!  Remember, I only built new...

These guys are top-notch, no matter what brand of boat they own... :D  :salut:
