I just purchased a 1989 AQUASPORT 222 CCP, well practically stole it. 8)
Its practically in tacked good floor good transom, just needs some TLC.
I figure its a 2yr project and I will use the 17.5 osprey while the big boat
is under construction.
I will uploads some pics just as soon as I can.
I love having this site and seeing all the bad ass rebuilds to inspire my project boat.
Have a great one

Welcome aboard SULLY_0063 :!: :!:
I'm not so sure we can handle another CCP owner right now - been pretty rowdy the last few months
Doesn't sound like a 2 year project
WE NEED PICS :!: :!:

Thanks RickK for the response.
Right now the boat looks Ok although I would really like to add
a few options that would make it so much more efficiant re:
T-Top (limited storage height) Gil Bracket w/ swim step,
leaning post etc..
Well I guess I need to get it back into running condition before thinking
of all the swag I would like to install.
For now the trailer sliders need replacing and its looking like I'm doing
that in the sellers drive. Yea in his drive. Some times you do what you
need to do.
I have time to make this ride a gulf monster and I want to do it right.
Still have my 1998 17.5 osprey to run around in.
At this time don't really know how this thing is going to ride.
Its got the 150 Johnson that probably is underpowered.
As I prev. stated I just need to first get in back in the water
then worry about the upgrades.
I will study up on how to upload these pics and send them on.
Thanks again

Nice looking CCP
When you post you pics, you click on the pic you want to post and, when using photobucket, you'll see a "Share your photo" area that has a bunch of code lines in it for different media. Click in the IMG Code line and you'll see that it copies the code to you clipboard - that's all you need to paste into your post - nothing more. I fixed the first pic you posted - edit that post and look at the code that is there. Also, you should scale your pics to no smaller than 640x480. Unless you took them with a camera phone, they should be much bigger than that originally.
Also, where you located - somewhere on the gulf coast.

Hope my pics are ok now.
Thanks for the feedback.
I'm in Tampa and I'm deff. looking to have an Aquasport gathering
some time this summer. Maybe you could help me arrange something like that, or
even know some one who is looking to do the same.
Thanks

Hey SULLY - welcome - now you have two great boats!
I've always liked the lines on the Ospreys - and in the 'hangin around' shots, that CCP looks pretty good, thanks for posting it on the CCP thread. Maybe someone here has some first hand experience with a 150hp on this hull...but I wouldn't count it out until you've run it.
We do need more photos when you have a chance :) .
