If you are looking to replace the sending unit, you can purchase a "universal" after market type from just about any marine store. I bought a custom made replacement for my 22-2 and it came with one of those units. Installation was simple. You cut it to fit and attach the float arm as instructed.
BTW the original tank on my 22-2 was 8" deep, if that helps.
