I am looking for info on a 1979 25ft center console aquasport that I am interested in buying.
Are they good boats and what should I look out for?

I am looking for a ocean boat that is dry and more comfortable riding then my 87 Aquasport 19'6'

I think I would start looking at the literature we have in the photo gallery - probably have the 79 era covered, or at least will get you a good start anyway.  Besides the obvious - a whole lot more boat, lot more weight, lot more length to span waves, etc., the bigger boat will be much more stable.

A 25 foot 79 center console model will be a 246CCP.  The 246CCP remained basically the same from first release until 1981, when the console and helm changed.  Here's a link to the info:

Hope this helps - see ya on the water!
