Last minute opinions....making a purchase Sunday?

Well Ive narrowed it down to a 74 222 center. It was an inboard that know has a armstrong bracket with a merc 150 on it(need to check the compression on the motor). It has a replaced decK and fuel tank. Work was done 4 years ago my a marina. boat overall is in great shape for the age. Man oh man  I just love the lines of that boat.  I am buying her Sunday.....Any last minute suggestions for me?????

Check the transom, and look for any directional spider cracking, it can signify a strange situation.

I am told there are no spider cracks in the hull at all. They backed the bracket up with stainless plate on the inside. I assume that is the best way to do it.

Just look around the transom for any signs of leaks, seepage, etc.

Also, look on the BOTTOM of the hull - cracks running along the bottom would signify a cracked stringer.

Hmmm yeah good thought, i know he just painted the bottom. I will use a rubber mallet down the length of the stringers.
