I'm still trying to get some feedback on repowering a 1994 195DC...other than the insurance issues which Cap'n John made me aware of, can anyone tell me if putting an '01 225 Johnson on my boat would be feasible. The bigger motor is app. 130# heavier than the long-shaft 112 which came new with the boat. I even dug out the old "owner's manual" but it has nothing as far as specs. Any info as far as performance, freeboard, transom strength etc. would really be appreciated...
