No surprise there.
All Gen I Aquas are light and fast but in confused seas (tests were done in Biscayne Bay) ride like a 65 Chevy with four bad tires.
1988 was a tough year for the Hialeah builder. Bankruptcy was just around the corner and there has been some discussion on the fit and finish of that model year because of same. Who knows. Your boat looks pretty damn good for a 5th place finisher
Buy'em and rebuild them for the history, not the ride.

Thanks for sharing that, I liked reading the other articles and seeing the advertisements, brought back some good memories, and the boat article was good too.
