Mercury outboard lift-ring

anyone have an O/B "Lift Ring" for my 1999 200 merc 2.5L {2-stroke} ?

didn't get the motor back from the rebuilders yet {they sent the prop out to be done} I will have the motor this Wednesday,and need the lift ring for remounting...

Theres a guy on EBay that makes the flywheel removal tool and lift ring for Mercury motors all in one kit. I almost bought one about a year ago, but decided to let a pro do it since I was replacing my stator at the time.

Do an EBay search; I think the kit runs about $30.00 and would be a good investment if you work on Mercury motors with any frequency.

I actually ordered 1 from a place in upstae NY, {offshore Wake Marine} getting delivered on Tuesday sometime.
and that timing will work out well as the motor is Finally getting here Wednesday {they sent out the prop to a shop for some work}

I bought one of the lifting ring/flywheel pullers off ebay. Pretty nice piece. Used it to lift a Merc 200 EFI. Worked fine. I will be using it on my 225 optimax very shortly. May fit Yammy's as well. Will let you know about that as I need it for my 225 Excell.
