Aquasport 250 Explorer
« on: October 21, 2009, 06:43:34 PM »
Hello everyone.  Would like to say that this is one great site.  I am a new member to the Aquasport family.  Bought a 2000 250 Explorer in April and brought her up north to live out her days chasing salmon on Lake Ontario.  The boat is awesome and have no complaints or regrets.  Looking forward to talking with some of you.
Best Wishes.

Welcome aboard P.J.
That's a hell of a WAC.  :thumright:
I looked at a 245 and they are really (all things considered) a big boat.
Plenty of good stuff here and a fair number of "glassheads" that could easily work in the boat building industry and know as much about the boats as those who built them. In fact some actually did
That alone is worth the price of admission.

Enjoy.

Maddiemutt,
Welcome, sir!  Excellent purchase!  What does she have for power?  Single 225 was the norm, hopefully twin 150s.

And I am one of those guys who used to build her...mostly her sisters, the 225 and 250 Ospreys.

Any questions, fire away! :D

Thanks guys for the welcome.  She is powered by twin 150's.  The boat was well kept in Florida and I'm sure will hold up great in the freshwater.  I will try to post some pictures this weekend.

Hey there Maddie,  Welcome aboard as well.  I just got my aqusport (1998 225 explorer) this past September and am loving it!  I have been doing a lot of fishing on the Long Island sound!   Steve
