BTW, what a difference a little pressure washing or just plain cleaning can do for a boat - looks great  :!:  :!:  8)
You've got a rare boat there that appears to be in great shape.  Sure, there is some tinkering to do on most but she looks original, even looks like she still sports the old "green" rubrail.  Congrats on the find.

Awesome boat, the fishing room on that style is amazing. I have started second guessing myself and thing maybe I should have just put a I/O back in to get back in the water sooner, but I love the motor under the center console. Makes for tons of fishing room.

I've come to the conclusion that there's no way the aquasport will ever get skinny enough for how I fish. I'm going to build a poling skiff after I finish the 222. With this in mind it would be nice to have a little more offshore ability, but the 222 is probably the best single all around boat you can have.
