« on: October 14, 2008, 09:50:29 PM »
i have a 1981 25 express fish with the two pedestal seats, has anyone done anything with a side by side seat set up a the helm so access to the cabin is improved.  any ideas, i was thinking of building something out of wood.  but if there is a prefabed product that looks good and wont break the bank i would like to know.

i just bought this bought does anyone have some background info on them.  it has a 225 evinrude rides real nice.  center floor board is a bit soft.

also any ideas on where i could find a hardtop for this model.

Welcome aboard 250xfwbumps  :!:  :!:

Yeah, having that port chair there never left much direct access into the cabin.  Have to walk around the chair with everything. Same with the Explorer model I have.  Your seats are mounted directly to the floor, correct? I guess there is no reason why you couldn't build a double chair out of something.  On the Explorers, the seats are on mounted on top of baitwells/coolers though.

Getting a t-top would be custom.
