1978 22-2 Family Fisher Transom Issues
« on: August 26, 2008, 09:56:40 PM »
I have a crack @ the transom from  left to right. I'm in the process of removing the cap and getting in side and checking the wood. The wood dose have a little rot but most of it was in tack and looks and feel ok. I've only heard of the Seacast but have never used it. Wanted to know if anyone has any first hand use and knowledge I could use?

my transom was replaced by the previous owner with seacast.  if you're handy with a chain saw it makes the job a lot easier.  also don't forget the vibrator to prevent voids.
