1985 aquasport ccp 200 fuel line replacement.
« on: August 09, 2018, 07:26:35 PM »
I have 1985 ccp 200 that has fuel problem.  Engine is not getting enough fuel and hesitates after some time.  The priming bulb is completely flat.  I have changed the fuel filter and it changed the fuel line with the priming bulb but the problem still continues.  Used recommended new priming bulb with new line. Thinking of changing the fuel line from the tank to the fuel filter.  Any know how complicated this is?Does anyone have any other suggestions? Can I do this from the pie plate inspection or will I have remove the deck and center console? Appreciate any help.

You will have to remove the console and fuel tank hatch to access the pickup hose unless you know exactly where the pickup hose is.  You could then install a pie plate on the deck hatch and do it that way.

I would just remove the console and the deck hatch.  Then you will be able to inspect gas tank, hoses, etc.  If that is the original tank you might be on borrowed time anyway.  This will be a good reason to check it all out.

Sounds like the antisiphon valve on the tank is stuck. Need the find the fuel line connection at the tank. It looks like a hose barb but it has a check valve in it.
