Beautiful! Where are you planning on putting the stripe?

I'm scratching my head on where to put the boot stipe. The best way is to put it in the water and measure. The boat will have a 1998 115 Evinrude so if anyone knows where the strip should be please let me know..!!

The paint is Awlgrip's FLY.

Even though you can't see it in the pictures there are allot of fish eye's in the paint. The painter isn't happy with it. He is going to take it back and respray with Awlcraft 2000. No charge. He doesn't have a booth so using Awlcraft will be much better to get a perfect finish.

With Awlgrip you shouldn't wet sand and buff. You can but if you do it will look like gel coat instead of looking like wet paint.

With Awlcraft 2000 you can work it after painting and it will only get better. My 31' Ocean Master is painted with Awlcraft. Also with Awlcraft it's much easier to do a touch up if you get damage. The paint shown is almost 4 years old and is being touched up from being gouged with a gaff. I use Awlcare polish only, no wax.
