T-tops

I guess we should start a topic on "quality" T-Top manufacturers.  Again, being mentioned in this topic is by no means an endorsement for the business by this website. Buyers beware and should use their own judgement in doing business with those listed.

May want to rephrase that last post. Might be confusing for some people as there is a " Quality T-tops" out of tarpon springs that builds most of the towers, t-tops, etc. for high end boats in the area.

They build all of gauses towers, dorado's, intrepid, stamas etc. Best workmanship in the business, design is much nicer also. They will be doing the tower on my boat. Go talk to Travis, he can set you up.

Right on.  Travis is the man.  I have had two of their t-tops.  Top quality.  My best friend's dad is a career welder and machine shop guy.  Long ago he showed me how to judge a weld.  Quality T-Tops puts out a great weld.  Looks like a ripple in the sand and not bubbly gum goop.  ESPECIALLY IF YOU ARE GOING TO ADD A SECOND HELM A GOOD WELD CAN MEAN YOUR LIFE!!
Paramount, in Bradenton FL also does excellent work.  They do the tops for the Yellowfin boats.  If I had an extra $150,000 to work with the Yellowfin 36 would be my first choice hands down...
The "mini tower" on my Ranger is also an excellent product, professional weld.  Don't know who they are but heard they are also out of Florida.  Anyone know?  All I know is they only put out black powdercoat..

Not sure about the post but the ad does not show anything. I would like to help if I can but not sure what I could do.

On another note I have a super custom Aquasport 24 side console with front side seating getting a gunnel mounted tower. I will research on how I can put updates of the progress on the forum. Any help would be sweet. Thanks & Thanks again guys, Travis

(they do the "oval" type bars on the t-tops, not the round style.  A little more pricey, but much nicer)

My last boat needed a t-top and i had a guy here in Cape Coral do it.  Action Welding.  They did a nice job and even added led cockpit lights embedded in the outside rail.
When i got this AQ 250CCP, the t-top was all over the place it would wiggle like it was made of jello.  I took the boat to Action and he added a few more connections to the console and two hand holds the braced the back and now its like concrete. I can recommend them without reservation for those of you down in this neck of the woods.

Action Welding in Cape Coral also did my top. Had them ad a few extras, hand rails around the side and back of top, box, gold tone rod holders lts and more. Excellent job, rock steady.
