CANOPY COLOR

As we say here in Tennessee, we're fixin to put a new top on the Family Fisherman. The boat colors are ivory and black decals.
My bride is leaning towards Pacific Blue and I'm thinking it shpould br either white or Irory. WE'll be in Mobile Bay and the Gulf where it will be hot.
Are the darker canopies that much hotter ?

Dark = Heat Absorbed = Hot
Light = Heat Reflected = Cool

From Southwest Florida...

I have the blue on mine and my Nephew has the white on his.  Cannot tell the difference.  Shade is shade on a windless, slick calm 95+ degree day on the 'ole Gulf of Mexico.

I agree with GF.
Dark = personal choice = hotter so make sure they make the frame a little taller so your head is away from the fabric a bit.  I had mine made an extra 6" higher since mine is dark blue and overall it's not too bad.  Most of the time we're sitting with plenty of airflow above to keep things cool.
Light = Cool = may dirty easier unless you're really careful.
Sunbrella fabric is the way to go as it won't mildew and dries pretty quick.
