It sounds like this Aquasport i bought is a really good boat
« on: February 18, 2008, 08:14:43 PM »
As many of you know I'm new as of late last year. Also I bought my friends boat...died of cancer. I'm gathering from reading your discussions that I bought a really fine boat, but I'm just learning this.
Like I read someone saying it was the finest in the world. So I would like to learn all I can about what I just fell into. Attempts at getting stuff from GENMAR  have resulted in little or no help. Like what kind of boats does it stack up to, Whaler, Sea Ray, etc.etc. Does it have a positive bouyancy hull? What ever i can learn would be helpful and appreciated.
Thanks in advance Bob Dougherty

You can check out info on your boat at in the gallery section - here's a place to start:

Regarding the Aquasport reputation, I've always felt there were 3 classics - Aquasport, Mako, and Grady-White.  Of course the Whaler folks don't agree, but everyone has their opinion.  Many other boat lines have copied these originals, with Aquasport being the inspiration for most.  Check out some of the reviews in the gallery section - a classic Aquasport is built like a tank and hard to beat!

See ya on the water!
