hull restore question

when you are putting in the stringers and the bulkheads what kind of fiberglass do you want to reinforce the hull not the stringers but underneath them. it seems like to me that you would want to use a coupple layers of some heavy woven stitch mat. i am also talking about what will go from the bottom of the hull up the sides. should i use the same stitch? heavier on the bottom than on the sides or what?

I used stitchmat.  For any inside corners, build up the corner with a fillet so the mat lays into the corner with a radius.  See Lilrichard's and Shine's project pictures.

im talking about under the stringers and the bulkheads running from the bow to the stern and the chime to where the top cap tuches the side of the hull on the inside i wanted to lay new fresh fiberglass. was wandering if i should use a heavy stitch mat or if a coupple layers of 1707 is ok.

I think you are talking different materials.  Jim's 24oz material is actually the same as 1707 (some say Tomato).  I think Wiler is talking about 2415.
