I was driving through Ozona last night and saw this on the side of the road... very nice looking hull... looks like a lot of the bay boats out there, but with a stepped hull. I think this may be similar to Yellowfin's new hull. Pretty cool!

Thats the old avenger 24. Jerry sold the mold after he finished the avenger 25. Not sure how his build quality is compared to Jerry but it is a sweet hull, very good riding, better than almost all of the bay boats in this category.

I fished out of a Northend 24 with a guide running out of Tarpon Springs. No tower, 225 Suzuki. Nice boat.
I was at Marauder Marine yesterday talking to Jerry about the Avenger 25. I'm really impressed. Those are two completely different animals altogether.

Seadog- was it Yellow? If so, I think he live in Ozona (near Tarpon)... that boat was NICE. So what is so different about the 25' Avenger and the old 24' version (now a north end)?

Not yellow like the picture above. The one I was on was a light sort of tan / cream color.
The 25 Avenger is a foot longer and 7" wider (8'-10" vs 8'-3") than the 24. Jerry lowered the chine some, added more storage lockers in the deck (I think there are 9 total). The cap is a little wider and the bow cap is a lot bigger for a lot more room to stand on. The 25 has some deck drainage channels the older 24's didn't have.
A lot of thought went into the design of the 25 and it's a really shape lookin' craft with those great lines. I'm thinkin of maybe gettin one.
