Yeah I agree, after sleeping on it a few nights, that is a lot of money for that rig.  4800.00 is for all the wiring, hyd steering (you have to have that with dual stations), lights, gas tank etc.  Still interested in Mr. Jones CCP on here though!

Well I think I am back in the game on this one.  Dual hydraulic steering is the main cost, but I think I am going to take the plunge.  Going one more time today to finalize.

Your VIN number should be good.   "FLZ" indicates the number was assigned to the boat by the State of Florida.  This makes sense because the boat never had an original factory VIN since it pre-dates the national VIN program for boats.  I went through the same thing with my '71 170.

Thank you for the prompt reply Jim, you are the man.  I am going to try and finalize tomorrow.  He has to get the boat out of there to get that 24' privateer back in there.   The city is making him move the privateer from the front yard.  More power to me  :wink: !

Make sure you get the title for the boat and a copy of his old registration.  Fl is a title state, I believe, so without that you'll have a problem.
