« on: April 10, 2007, 12:44:00 PM »
i had put up a post on craigslist looking for a trailer for my 170 and last night i got a reply. someone is selling a 2001 load rite trailer for $500. he claims it was used twice and is in perfect condition. is that a fair price

As long as it is in good shape, I would say yes, that is a good deal.  Is it AL or Galvanized?  Not that it matters for $500.

Even if you have to buy tires and re-pack bearings, it's a good price.

Good luck with the trailer!  When you go to see it and if you are planning to tow it home, take your tools and grease gun.  Portable air compressor can come in handy too if the tires are low.
